It's a fantastic method to add excitement to your work and liven up soldering.

  1. Make sure your tip is neat and tidy first. If it's too dirty, re-tin it; otherwise, just wipe it with a moist sponge to remove any surface grime.

  2. Adjust the seams

  3. Solder every seam first. Decorative soldering over previously soldered seams is simpler. If you would rather, you can tinned (cover with a flat layer of solder) these seams instead of beading them, as shown in the above figure.

  4. On one of the seams, just melt a small ball of solder until it forms a ball. To ensure that the ball adheres to the solder seam, touch the seam.

  5. Make the balls as near or far apart as you desire as you proceed. Simply hold the solder on the iron tip longer if you want larger dots.

It's as simple as that! There are many more methods to use solder to decorate your jewelry once you get the hang of it.
